-no serial commas

-punctuation inside quotations

-spaces before and after m-dash

-no indent when there is an extra break between paragraphs

-no space after ellipses

-spelled-out numbers (from one to ten)

-brand names capitalized

  1. What's the source for fairytale as an adj? I think it should be fairy-tale. Almost all multi-word nouns that become adjectives require a hyphen.
    Also, having a space on either side of an em-dash seems unconventional, but maybe it's different for newspapers?
